Journey to Happiness
Journey to happiness started when Redwood agency in London contacted Fandango to assist them in filming a major digital campaign for the Mazda CX-30, launched in december 2019. The story involved a road trip in down town Copenhagen and the stunning rural areas of Denmark – one of the ”happiest” countries in the world.
One part of the campaign focused on showing how the car aims to enhance the lives of everyone driving in it. The assets required included a long-form story for the Mazda digital magazine, product stories for Instagram, video stories and carousel adverts for Facebook.
The other part of the campaign highlighted the key elements of the cabin, explaining why it raises the standard in comfort, refinement and unique design. The assets required included a gallery-led feature with a navigate function for the Mazda digital magazine, product stories for Instagram and canvas clips for Facebook.
Fandango assisted in the pre production by helping to select locations and in recruiting the talents. We used our nimble film crew of three, operating the car-to-car rig, drone and hand held camera as well as camera on slider for the interior shots. It was great working with the Redwood team and we managed to deliver spectacular shots of the car and the people in scenic environments both in the city and out on the road telling the story of The Journey to Happiness.
