The WIN WIN Award is an international prize that brings attention to outstanding sustainability contributions globally
Among these is Uyunkar Domingo Peas, an indigenous leader from the Ecuadorian Amazon. Domingo is the founder of the Amazon Sacred Headwaters Alliance, a coalition of more than 30 indigenous nations working to protect vast areas of rainforest.

Win Win reached out to Fandango to help create an emotional portrait piece following Domingo in his work. We gladly signed up to a trip to the Amazon rainforest. We were proud to see our work contribute to some good in the world, and also to help spread Domingo’s message.
Rooted in the philosophy of Buen Vivir – living in harmony with nature and collective wellbeing – Domingo’s leadership goes beyond defending his people’s rights. He advocates for indigenous stewardship as a cornerstone of Amazon protection and global environmental stability.

Temperatures that fluctuated between 18 and 40 degrees Celsius.
Torrential rain that would come with no warning.
Equipment malfunctioning due to the humidity.
Lenses continually getting fogged up from the extreme condensation.
Even the sweat from our foreheads dripping onto the camera equipment and adjusting settings.
It was a struggle to say the least, but we persevered. We hope you agree, the results are simply breathtaking and bring Domingo’s important story to life visually and emotionally. It’s an amazing experience we will carry with us for a long time.
