How do you prove a technology designed for the future? By putting it through some of the harshest conditions on earth.
For this film, we followed Volvo Trucks as they continued testing their hydrogen-powered fuel cell trucks in northern Sweden. With temperatures far below freezing, challenging road conditions and demanding long-haul routes, the environment became the perfect proving ground for the next generation of sustainable transport.
Our goal was to capture the reality behind the innovation. Rather than focusing on concepts and promises, we wanted to showcase the engineering, testing and determination required to bring hydrogen-powered trucking closer to commercial reality.

Filmed above the Arctic Circle, the production combines cinematic landscapes, authentic testing environments and a documentary-style approach to tell the story of a technology being pushed to its limits.
The result is a film that highlights Volvo Trucks’ commitment to exploring multiple paths toward net-zero transport, while giving viewers a rare glimpse into the extensive real-world testing behind every new solution.
